Level Green's day camp program welcomes children ages 7 to 16 of all riding abilities, from complete beginners to advanced riders. Campers ride twice daily with lessons or trail rides through woods, fields, and along the James River. Each camper is assigned a horse or pony to care for throughout the week, learning feeding, grooming, and stable management skills. The program includes two daily lectures on topics such as basic horsemanship, horse shoeing, stable management, and veterinary care. Experienced riders have opportunities to jump cross country fences and ride courses in the ring, while beginners receive individual instruction for their first two days. Thursday afternoons feature fun activities, and each Friday concludes with a riding demonstration and awards ceremony for parents and friends. Every camper receives a free Level Green T-Shirt. The camp runs on the school's 200-acre facility featuring 45 horses and ponies, 38 stables, 2 riding rings, a cross country course, and extensive riding trails, all supervised by qualified and experienced staff members.
