For this Maker Lab, students will explore the engineering and mathematics behind electric vehicles. Our goal is to discover how they work by having each student design and build their own cardboard electric vehicle. Students will also compare the efficiency and sustainability of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles with electric-powered vehicles. This hands-on STEM camp combines engineering, design thinking, and environmental science in an engaging week of making and learning.
