Welcome wild ones! Campers become young explorers, venturing through rainforests, tundra, oceans and deserts to learn what makes the earth's ecosystems (including the Bay Area's) so wildly wonderful. Becoming a Naturalist is an epic blend of science, creativity, and hands-on exploration as children discover the interconnections between plants, animals, and their environments. Through outdoor adventures and indoor investigations, campers will learn about different habitats and the creatures that call them home. This camp encourages observation skills, environmental awareness, and appreciation for the natural world. Each day brings new discoveries about the amazing diversity of life on our planet. This camp is wonderful for the kid who loves to forage and observe the changing seasons.
