Private Camps allow groups to create their ideal camp experience with Virginia Outside. Parents can feel at ease knowing their children are at camp with peers they already know, while interacting with parents they already know. Groups create their own participant roster, decide the most convenient pick-up/drop location, choose and customize activities for the week, request ideal dates and times, and easily communicate with other parents. Private camps require a minimum of 8 campers and cannot exceed 12 campers. Activities can include fishing, mountain biking, orienteering, paddling (kayak or canoe), kayak fishing, hiking, tubing, rock climbing, white water rafting, paddle boarding, high ropes, and much more. Weekly day camps can include multiple activities depending on scheduling availability. Private camps offer the same high-quality experience as traditional camp programming with experienced counselors leading safe, fun outdoor adventures. Overnight camp options are also available similar to the overnight camps Virginia Outside offers.
