Fish N' Fun Camp for ages 6-9 is a great introduction to the basics of fishing for those who are still hesitant or for those who have just gotten into fishing and want to build their skills. This one-week fishing camp is designed to spark interest in fishing while also allowing for free play and exploration. The main goal is to get younger campers outdoors and having fun. Campers will practice handling fishing rods, casting, holding fish, and more. They'll also participate in interactive outdoor games and make nature crafts. The camp visits a combination of public and private ponds and lakes where campers often catch Sunfish, Bass, and Crappie. Throughout the week, campers will find time to splash around in the local river searching for fun creatures like crayfish, frogs, and salamanders. The river provides a great way to cool off during summer while exploring nature.
