This specialized course teaches the traditional techniques of botanical drawing and illustration. Students will learn to observe and render plants with scientific accuracy while creating beautiful artworks. The course covers drawing techniques specific to botanical subjects, including detailed observation, accurate measurement, and rendering of plant structures. Participants will work from live specimens, learning to capture texture, form, and botanical characteristics. Perfect for nature lovers and those interested in scientific illustration. All materials must be supplied by students (materials list available online).
