The Experience Camp, back by popular demand, is a 5-day sampler of exciting beach fun and outdoor adventures designed for kids in grades 3-6. This comprehensive camp includes boogie boarding, surfing, games, and tidepooling at Marin's beautiful beaches, as well as outdoor rock climbing at one of the Bay Area's most beautiful crags. Campers will also enjoy hiking, birdwatching, and nature journaling to connect with the natural world. The camp incorporates tai chi and karate instruction at the Martial Arts Academy of Marin with Sensei Will, along with mindfulness practices, brief meditative moments, and yoga to help campers stretch and prepare for climbing rocks or getting in the water. This diverse program offers a taste of many outdoor activities in one action-packed week. Van transportation is provided to all locations, departing from Harrison Skate Park at Mill Valley Middle School. The camp runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, with extended hours until 5 PM on climbing days.
