Ride Five Camp is exciting beach fun including five full days of boogie boarding, surfing, games, tidepooling, marine biology activities, service learning opportunities, and more at Muir Beach, Stinson Beach, and/or other Marin beaches, conditions permitting. This camp is designed for kids in grades 3-6 who love the ocean and want to spend their week riding waves and exploring the marine environment. The camp includes a special experience at the brand new and state-of-the-art College of Marin Marine Lab in Bolinas, featuring live sea creatures in the touch tank - your kids will be among the first to see it! Unique nature explorations and opportunities to give back to the Earth are woven throughout the week. The camp also incorporates mindfulness practices, brief meditative moments, and yoga to help campers stretch and get ready to get in the water. Van transportation is provided to all beach locations, departing from Harrison Skate Park at Mill Valley Middle School. This is the perfect camp for kids who want to improve their wave-riding skills while learning about marine ecosystems and coastal conservation.
