Classic Mini Camp is specially designed as an introduction to sleepaway camp for younger Girl Scouts in grades 2-4. This shortened three-day, two-night session provides all the fun and adventure of traditional camp in a format that's perfect for first-time campers or those not quite ready for a full week away from home. Campers participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities including swimming, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, nature activities, and fun evening programs. The schedule is carefully designed to keep younger campers engaged and excited while also providing plenty of support and structure. Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins with caring counselors who understand the needs of younger children. The program emphasizes building confidence, making new friends, and developing independence in a safe, supportive environment. Classic Mini Camp is the perfect stepping stone to longer camp sessions, giving campers a taste of the camp experience while building their comfort with being away from home. Many Mini Camp graduates return for full-week sessions in future summers!
