The Led Arena Ride is a special add-on option available to Classic Camp campers at Camp Meriwether who want to experience horseback riding without committing to a full equestrian program. For just $10, campers attending Classic Camp will have the opportunity to enjoy a short, introductory ride in the arena with a trained staff member leading the horse on foot. This safe and fun experience offers campers a chance to meet the horses, sit in the saddle, and take three laps around the arena while being led by experienced staff. The Led Arena Ride is perfect for campers who are curious about horses but may be nervous about riding independently, or for those who simply want to add a horse experience to their Classic Camp week. Rides are short in duration and designed to be a positive first experience with horses. This option is only available to campers in Classic Camp and Classic Camp Mini sessions during select weeks.
No additional transportation needed. Led Arena Ride takes place during regular camp activities at Camp Meriwether.
