Saturday Checkout is a new option at Camp Meriwether that allows sleepaway campers to stay one additional night and check out Saturday morning instead of Friday afternoon. For an additional $75, campers enjoy a relaxed Friday evening with special activities, dinner, and one more night in their cabin with friends. Saturday morning includes breakfast before checkout between 9:00-10:00 AM. This option is perfect for families who want to avoid Friday afternoon traffic, need more flexibility in their schedule, or whose campers simply want to squeeze every last moment out of their camp experience. The extra evening provides a calm transition from the busy camp week, allowing campers to reflect on their experiences and say goodbye to friends without the rush of Friday checkout. Saturday Checkout is available during select weeks at Camp Meriwether and must be added during registration.
