Rodeo Games is Camp Meriwether's newest equestrian program featuring Western horseback riding. This exciting specialty program introduces campers to Western riding styles and rodeo-inspired games and activities. Participants will learn Western riding techniques, practice barrel racing patterns, try pole bending, and experience other rodeo-style challenges in a safe, supervised environment. The program includes daily riding sessions with Western saddles, horse care instruction, and education about Western horsemanship traditions. Campers will develop confidence in the saddle while having fun with Western-style mounted games. In addition to riding activities, participants enjoy traditional camp experiences including swimming, archery, and outdoor adventures. This program is perfect for older campers interested in Western riding or those looking to expand their equestrian skills beyond English riding.
Parent drop-off and pick-up at Camp Meriwether. Check-in is Sunday from 1:00-3:00 PM, and check-out is Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM.
