This camp brings the classic fairytale of Snow White to life through ballet, perfect for students looking to enhance their artistry and performing skills. Each day begins with a 1-hour beginning level ballet technique class focusing on flexibility, posture, balance, coordination, musicality, foot and arm positions, and basic center/across the floor steps. No previous ballet experience is necessary. An improvisation lesson follows, where students learn to enhance character performance skills while adding their own artistic visions. The remainder of each day includes activities for putting together an original Passion Academy ballet production of Snow White. Students learn choreography and participate in craft activities making costume accessories, props, and scenery for the final performance. Students serve as both performers and production team members. The week culminates in a parent performance at 1:30 PM on the final day.
