From alligators to zebra swallowtail butterflies, we have a lot of awesome wildlife here in Virginia! Learn about the plants and animals around us — one letter at a time. This half-day camp for pre-kindergarten children aged 4-5 years runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm (or 9:15am-12:15pm in 2025) and takes place at Maymont Farm. Through engaging activities, games, and animal encounters, young learners will explore Virginia's diverse wildlife while building early literacy skills. Each week-long session provides a fun, educational introduction to local ecology.
