This senior program offers a welcoming environment for older adults to explore mixed media art while creating beautiful bird-themed projects. The 1.25-hour class meets weekly on Thursdays and is specifically designed for seniors, with instruction paced appropriately and techniques adapted for various ability levels. Participants will learn to combine different art materials including paint, paper, fabric, and found objects to create unique bird artwork. The class promotes creativity, fine motor skills, and social connection. Each week features a different bird or technique, allowing for variety and continued learning. This program improves health and well-being through art while forming meaningful connections with others in the same stage of life. All materials and instruction are provided.
