High school students ages 15-18 will learn traditional stained glass techniques in VisArts' professional glass studio. This comprehensive class covers the complete stained glass process including pattern design, glass cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. Participants will create their own stained glass pieces such as sun catchers, panels, and decorative objects using the copper foil method. Working with professional tools and equipment, students will develop technical skills while exploring color, light, and design. The class emphasizes both craftsmanship and artistic expression, with individual instruction from experienced glass artist Letitia Diggs. All tools and materials are provided.
