Marvel Moviemaker combines the excitement of Marvel superheroes with the art of stop-motion animation for grades 1-3. Young filmmakers will learn animation techniques, storytelling, and video production as they create their own Marvel-themed movies. Campers will design sets, create characters, write scripts, and bring their superhero stories to life using stop-motion animation technology. Each day features lessons in animation principles, character development, scene composition, and editing. Students will work with tablets and animation software to capture their creations frame by frame, learning patience, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving. Activities include building miniature sets, creating special effects, recording dialogue, and adding sound effects. The week culminates in a film festival where campers premiere their movies for family and friends. This camp develops creativity, technical skills, and storytelling abilities while celebrating favorite Marvel characters.
