Our Winter Scrimmages are designed as the next step for athletes who have completed at least one session of GO Hockey, Next Level, or an equivalent. Players must already demonstrate core field hockey skills including proper stick grip, correct use of the stick's flat side, dribbling and passing, avoiding intentional feet, and have knowledge of safe play. This division features 5v5 or 7v7 play (depending on numbers) with standard goals and field hockey balls. Each 1.5-hour session begins with a 30-minute warm-up, instruction, and skills clinic, followed by four 10-minute quarters. Coaches umpire and corners are not played. Teams will change weekly to provide varied playing experiences.
