Come join us for some special Mommy or Daddy and Me time while learning about the world around you in this engaging series for children ages 2-4 and their parents or caregivers. Led by Julie Head, Education Director at the Eastern Shore Soil & Water Conservation District, each monthly session focuses on a different theme that introduces young children to nature, science, and the environment through age-appropriate activities and exploration. In January, participants will learn about the water cycle and colors. The focus in February will be on farming animals, and in March the focus will be on trees and our sense of touch. These hour-long sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for quality bonding time between parent and child while fostering early learning and curiosity about the natural world. Families can register for individual sessions or save by signing up for all three sessions. This program is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers beginning to explore and understand their environment.
