It's not all rainbows and butterflies in the wild! Come check out the stinky, the slimy, even the creepy, to discover the icky side of nature that helps both plants and animals survive. This full-day camp for rising 2nd and 3rd grade children aged 7-8 years runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm (or 9:15am-3:15pm in 2025) and takes place at The Robins Nature Center. Campers will explore decomposition, animal defenses, survival adaptations, and other fascinating (if sometimes gross!) aspects of the natural world. Through hands-on activities, experiments, and animal encounters, they'll learn why these 'gross' things are actually essential to healthy ecosystems.
