Young language learners will be introduced to French in this engaging, interactive camp that makes learning a new language fun and accessible. Through songs, games, stories, crafts, and activities, children will learn basic French vocabulary, simple phrases, and cultural traditions. The camp uses a total immersion approach appropriate for beginners, with lots of repetition, visual aids, and hands-on activities to reinforce learning. Topics may include greetings, numbers, colors, animals, food, and family. Children will also explore French culture through art projects, music, and learning about France and French-speaking countries. The emphasis is on building confidence, developing an ear for the language, and creating positive associations with language learning. No prior French experience is necessary—just curiosity and enthusiasm!
