Little Engineer Half Day introduces PreK-K students (ages 4-5) to the exciting world of engineering through hands-on building and design activities. This half-day morning program runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and is perfect for young children who love to build and create. Campers will explore basic engineering concepts through age-appropriate challenges using blocks, simple machines, and construction materials. Children will design and build bridges, towers, vehicles, and other structures while learning about stability, balance, and problem-solving. The camp introduces concepts like ramps, levers, wheels, and gears through playful exploration. Activities include building challenges, collaborative projects, and creative construction time. This shorter format is ideal for younger children and provides a gentle introduction to STEM concepts through play-based learning. Little Engineers will develop spatial reasoning, fine motor skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
