You'll learn painting techniques and materials as you paint the local landscape from direct observation—just like the great artists throughout history! Campers will explore various media including oil pastels, watercolors, and acrylic paints while studying outdoor scenes and the works of famous landscape artists. From Monet to modern masters, you'll discover different styles and techniques that inspire your own creations. Explore your inner Impressionist as you experiment with color, light, and your unique interpretation of the beautiful St. Catherine's campus.
