Classic Sleepaway Camp at Camp Timber Ridge offers the full traditional summer camp experience with overnight stays in a beautiful outdoor setting. This week-long program is perfect for campers in grades 2-10 who are ready for the independence and adventure of sleepaway camp. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including swimming in the pool, STEM activities in the Design Lab, arts and crafts, challenge course with giant swing, canoeing and kayaking, archery, outdoor skills, nature exploration, and exciting evening programs. Days are filled with adventure and friendship-building, while evenings bring campfires, songs, and special activities. Campers stay in cabins or platform tents with their peers and caring counselors, learning independence and self-reliance while making friendships that often last for years. The program emphasizes trying new things, building confidence, and developing leadership skills in a supportive environment. Whether it's conquering the challenge course, learning to paddle a kayak, or making new friends around the campfire, Classic Sleepaway Camp creates memories that last a lifetime. This is the quintessential Girl Scout camp experience!
