Winter Wonderland invites children ages 5-8 to celebrate the beauty of winter through art. This multi-week class explores winter themes including snow, ice, frost, and winter celebrations through drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. Children create sparkling winter landscapes, snowflakes, ice crystals, and festive decorations using glitter, metallic paints, and reflective materials. Projects are inspired by winter scenes and seasonal artworks in the museum's collection. The class develops color mixing, pattern making, and creative expression while celebrating the magic of the winter season.
