The Christopher Newport Captains Lacrosse Girls Overnight Camp provides a comprehensive three-day residential experience where middle and high school girls can fully immerse themselves in lacrosse training and team building. Campers stay on the Christopher Newport University campus, experiencing college life while receiving intensive instruction from the Captains coaching staff and current players. The overnight format allows for extended training sessions, evening activities, team bonding experiences, and a deeper focus on skill development without the distractions of daily travel. The camp covers all aspects of girls' lacrosse including stick skills, shooting, defensive techniques, offensive strategies, draw controls, and game situations. Beyond on-field training, campers participate in team-building activities, leadership workshops, and have opportunities to learn about the college recruiting process and what it takes to play at the collegiate level. The residential experience helps players develop independence, make new friends from different areas, and gain confidence both on and off the field. All meals and accommodations are included in the camp fee.
