Mandarin Mania in Marin offers children ages 2-8 an exciting introduction to Mandarin Chinese language and culture. Through interactive activities including music, art, cooking, dance, calligraphy, and cultural celebrations, children develop language skills while exploring Chinese traditions. The program takes place at Terra Mandarin Preschool in Mill Valley and provides a supportive, play-based environment for language learning. Campers learn basic Mandarin vocabulary and phrases through songs, games, storytelling, and hands-on projects. Activities include traditional Chinese arts and crafts, cooking simple Chinese dishes, learning Chinese folk dances, celebrating Chinese festivals, and exploring geography and customs of Chinese-speaking regions. The immersive approach helps children build confidence in using Mandarin while having fun and making friends. Age-appropriate instruction ensures that toddlers through elementary students are engaged at their developmental level.
