Black Rocket's Drone Adventures camp introduces students to the thrilling world of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This hands-on technology camp teaches students the fundamentals of drone operation, flight mechanics, and aerial photography. Campers will learn about drone safety, FAA regulations, basic aerodynamics, and responsible drone piloting. Through guided instruction and supervised flight time, students will practice takeoffs, landings, hovering, and maneuvering drones through obstacle courses. The camp also explores real-world applications of drone technology in fields like photography, videography, agriculture, search and rescue, and environmental monitoring. Students will work in teams to complete flight challenges, capture aerial footage, and even program basic autonomous flight patterns. By the end of the week, campers will have developed piloting skills, understood the science behind flight, and gained appreciation for this rapidly growing technology field. This camp is perfect for students interested in aviation, robotics, photography, or STEM careers.
