Master Chef Junior is a delicious specialty camp program for campers in grades 4-8 who love cooking, baking, and culinary adventures. This week-long session combines hands-on cooking instruction with traditional camp activities, creating the perfect recipe for summer fun. Campers learn cooking techniques, food safety, meal planning, and kitchen skills while preparing a variety of dishes from different cuisines. The program includes both indoor kitchen work and outdoor cooking experiences like campfire cooking and Dutch oven meals. Campers explore different cooking methods, learn about nutrition, practice measuring and following recipes, and get creative with food presentation. They'll prepare breakfast items, lunches, dinners, desserts, and snacks, gaining confidence in the kitchen along the way. Between cooking activities, campers enjoy traditional camp offerings like swimming, archery, challenge course, and evening programs. Master Chef Junior emphasizes teamwork (cooking is a collaborative activity!), creativity, and the joy of sharing food with others. The program is designed for all skill levels—whether your camper is a kitchen novice or an experienced young chef, they'll learn new skills and have fun creating delicious dishes.
