Digital Visual Storytelling eLAB is an innovative media arts camp that teaches middle school students how to tell stories using digital tools and visual media. This hands-on program covers digital photography basics, video production and editing, storyboarding and narrative structure, audio recording and sound design, graphic design fundamentals, and multimedia presentation techniques. Students will learn to use professional software and equipment to create their own digital stories, from concept to final product. The camp emphasizes both technical skills and creative storytelling, teaching students how to compose shots, edit footage, add effects, and create engaging narratives. Projects may include photo essays, short films, documentaries, digital slideshows, and multimedia presentations. Students will work individually and in teams, learning collaboration and project management skills. By the end of the week, each student will have completed several digital projects and gained confidence in visual storytelling. This camp is perfect for students interested in photography, filmmaking, journalism, or digital media careers.
