Combine creativity, storytelling, and technology in this exciting camp where students create their own stop-motion animated films using LEGO bricks. Campers will learn the fundamentals of stop-motion animation, including storyboarding, character development, set design, and filming techniques. Using tablets or computers with animation software, students will photograph their LEGO scenes frame by frame, then edit their footage to create complete animated shorts. The camp covers basic principles of animation, lighting, camera angles, and sound effects. Students will work individually and in teams to plan, film, and produce their animations. By the end of the week, each camper will have created their own LEGO stop-motion film to share with family and friends. This camp develops patience, attention to detail, technical skills, and creative storytelling abilities.
New carpool service available for all students arriving and departing campus.
