Loose Parts Sculpture introduces toddlers ages 15-30 months to three-dimensional art-making using a variety of found materials and loose parts. Accompanied by an adult caregiver, toddlers explore stacking, balancing, arranging, and connecting materials to create sculptures. This hands-on Thursday class supports fine motor development, spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Inspired by sculptures in the museum's collection, toddlers learn to see everyday objects as art materials. The class provides a supportive environment for toddlers to experiment, take risks, and express themselves through art-making.
