This intermediate-level class focuses on fitting a mockup and constructing either a pair of jeans or a jean skirt. Prerequisites include completion of Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 in addition to the Using Sewing Patterns class. Pattern options for ladies include Butterick B6840 or B6973, or Vogue V2051. For gentlemen, Simplicity S9046 is recommended. This four-session class provides 10 hours of intensive instruction on one of the most challenging garment construction projects. You'll learn professional fitting techniques, work with denim fabric, and master the construction details that make jeans and jean skirts both durable and stylish. This is an advanced project that builds on all the skills learned in previous levels.

What is the cancellation policy?: If you need to cancel for a class, you must give us at least one week's notice. If we are notified one week or before of the class start date then we will either reimburse you for your tuition or you can use your payment towards another class. What if the class doesn't have enough students?: All group adult classes must have a minimum of 4 students to be held. You will be notified one week prior to the class start date if the class must be cancelled.
