Ultimate Girl Scout is a special camp program designed to immerse campers in Girl Scout traditions, values, and badge work. This week-long session at Camp Meriwether is perfect for campers in grades 2-8 who want to deepen their Girl Scout experience while enjoying all the fun of summer camp. The program focuses on earning Girl Scout badges through hands-on activities, learning about Girl Scout history and traditions, developing leadership skills, and celebrating the sisterhood of Girl Scouting. Campers work on age-appropriate badges in areas like outdoor skills, STEM, arts, and life skills. They'll learn classic Girl Scout songs, participate in traditional ceremonies, and explore what it means to be a Girl Scout leader. Between badge work, campers enjoy traditional camp activities including swimming, archery, challenge course, canoeing, kayaking, and evening programs. The program emphasizes the Girl Scout Law and Promise, helping campers understand how these values apply to their daily lives. Ultimate Girl Scout is ideal for both new Girl Scouts who want to learn the fundamentals and experienced Girl Scouts who want to earn badges while at camp. It's a celebration of everything that makes Girl Scouting special!
