Richmond Little League's combined Juniors/Seniors Division offers players little league ages 13–16 the opportunity to compete on a full-sized baseball field while continuing to grow their skills in a challenging, supportive environment. By merging the two upper divisions, Richmond Little League provides a strong, flexible program that accommodates a wide range of ages and development levels while ensuring full teams, meaningful playing time, and competition. This division plays on a regulation 90-foot diamond with a 60'6" pitching distance, giving players the chance to experience baseball in the same format used at the highest levels of the game. Athletes refine advanced skills such as pitch sequencing, defensive positioning, base stealing, cutoffs and relays, situational hitting, and strategic in-game decision-making. The pace of play is faster, the field is larger, and the game more closely resembles high school baseball. Coaches emphasize continued development while preparing players for future baseball opportunities—including school teams and higher competitive levels. Instruction remains a priority, but players also enjoy a greater sense of independence, responsibility, and teamwork as they take on the challenges of the full-size field. This Division will consist of one or more teams (registration dependent) and will play mostly against other little league teams (such as Tuckahoe, Atlee, Bethlehem, Chesterfield and Mechanicsville). This offers a terrific opportunity to play against other players and teams in the surrounding region.
