Watershed Warriors Camp is fun, wonder-filled, developmentally appropriate, place-based, hands-on experiences in nature designed for our littlest campers who love to play and to invent. Marin's green places are the perfect place to search for fairy houses and imagine you are the king or queen of the forest. Your child will come home happy and full of stories. The dirty knees will say it all - our Watershed Warriors program truly allows your child the chance to connect with nature. The program is organized exploring, unorganized exploring, theme-based games, waste-free crafts, moments of giving back to the community, friendship-making, and sensory-based fun! This Ross Valley Adventures location provides a mash-up of bay and creek habitats with weekly themes including Salty, Fresh & In Between Water, Creek Big Birds, The Teeny Creatures of Corte Madera Creek, Ross Valley Small Plants & Tall Trees, Creek Animal Tracks, and Ross Valley Miwok Life. Campers will explore Corte Madera Creek and its tributaries, discovering the watershed and all of the creatures who live within it. Games and artwork featuring the water cycle, the history of the area and the local flora and fauna will be the primary focus along with light hiking and imaginative play. Service work includes projects with Marin County Parks.
