The Animal Lover Birthday Party is a terrific way to celebrate a birthday at the Richmond SPCA for children ages 8-16. This 1.5-hour party package includes time in the party room with a Richmond SPCA party host who guides activities. Each child will help make animal enrichment items for the cats and dogs in the shelter's care, learning about animal welfare while creating toys and treats for shelter pets. The party includes a special visit from one of the dogs or cats currently awaiting adoption, giving children a chance to interact with and learn about shelter animals. The Richmond SPCA provides all paper products including plates, cups, napkins, utensils and tablecloths, plus one goodie bag per child. Parents or hosts provide food and drinks for party guests. Setup and cleanup are handled by the party host, making it stress-free for families.
