Drawing Figures provides teens ages 13-17 with instruction in observational figure drawing in the museum galleries. This multi-week class focuses on proportion, gesture, anatomy, and capturing the human form through drawing. Students work from sculptures and paintings in the collection, learning to see and render the figure accurately. Each session includes demonstrations, guided practice, and individual feedback from the instructor. The class develops observational skills, hand-eye coordination, and understanding of human anatomy while building a strong foundation in figure drawing.
