It's time to squish and sculpt in this hand building clay camp! Campers will be guided through different hand building techniques such as coil building, slab construction, as well as using slump molds to create a variety of vessels, containers and dishes. Students will experiment with stamping techniques to give the clay texture before glazing their pieces. This comprehensive clay camp teaches fundamental pottery skills while encouraging creative expression. Each camper will complete multiple projects throughout the week, learning professional techniques used by ceramic artists. All materials are provided for a hands-on exploration of clay art.
