Get ready to stamp, carve, and print your way to awesome art this summer! Campers will make their own stamps with textured cardboard, easy-to-carve rubber, carve a linoleum block and even potatoes to create their own textured paper and fabric art. We'll explore patterns, textures, and bold colors to make personalized stationery, art prints, and fun fabrics. All materials are provided. This hands-on printmaking camp introduces students to various printing techniques and allows them to create unique, reproducible artwork. Students will learn about positive and negative space, pattern design, and color layering while producing take-home art pieces.
