The full six-week session at Camp River's Bend offers boys the complete traditional overnight camp experience. Campers participate in two activity periods each day (except Sundays) choosing from archery, horseback riding, riflery, canoeing, fishing, campcraft, craftshop, field sports, baseball, and basketball. Throughout the six weeks, boys develop lasting friendships, build character through the camp's core values of integrity, sportsmanship, community, and resilience, and participate in special activities including overnight hiking trips, canoe trips, horseback riding trips, campfire sing-alongs, dances, church services, and Navy vs. Green competitions. The extended session allows campers to fully immerse themselves in camp life, progress significantly in their chosen activities, and create memories that last a lifetime. Counselors skilled in their crafts ensure every activity is fun, meaningful, and educational.
