RVA Paddlesports Pipeline Adventure Camp is a week-long summer camp designed for youth ages 9-14 that introduces kids to the world of outdoor recreation right on the James River. Participants embark on a journey of challenge and self-discovery through kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, and swimming. Over the course of the week, campers explore the James River Park system while learning about river ecology, safety, and developing real-life skills in CPR and First Aid from certified instructors. The camp takes kids around the Falls of the James, teaching them paddle instruction, river navigation, and environmental awareness. Professional staff guide participants through interpersonal development and leadership activities, creating an adventure-filled week that builds confidence and outdoor skills. No experience is necessary, just a mandatory stoke level for adventure!
