This performance camp brings the classic fairytale of Snow White to life, geared specifically toward younger students ages 4-7. The camp is filled with a variety of dance, story time, and craft activities to accommodate the attention span and physical strength of young dancers. Each day begins with a 45-minute primary level ballet technique class focusing on flexibility, posture, balance, coordination, musicality, foot and arm positions, and basic center/across the floor steps. No previous ballet experience is necessary. The remainder of each day includes activities for putting together an original Passion Academy ballet production of Snow White. Students study the characters and learn to portray them through ballet movement, learn choreography, and participate in craft activities making costume accessories, props, and scenery for the final performance. Students serve as both performers and production team. The week includes story time, several snack breaks, and lunch time, culminating in a parent performance at 1:00 PM on the final day.
