Dream of working with plants or animals? This is your chance to discover the daily tasks of Maymont's hard-working Animal Keepers, Aquarists and Horticulturists. Make treats, train animals, feed fish and more! This full-day camp for rising 6th-8th grade children aged 11-13 years runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm and takes place at The Robins Nature Center. This advanced keeper program provides in-depth, hands-on experience with animal care, aquarium maintenance, and horticultural practices. Campers will work closely with professional staff to learn about careers in zoology, aquatic science, and horticulture while gaining practical skills in animal husbandry and enrichment.
