Art Foundations is designed for students ages 8-12 who are homeschooled and ready to develop more advanced artistic skills. This Wednesday morning session builds upon fundamental art concepts while introducing more sophisticated techniques. Students learn specific concepts and skills while completing various tasks to earn buttons they can display on their class apron. Each five-week session follows a comprehensive curriculum framework designed by art education experts. Sessions cover themes like Pattern, Baroque Art, Movement, Illustration, and Pop Art throughout the school year. The program provides a structured approach to art education while nurturing individual creativity and artistic expression.
