Kick off your Sunday shoes and experience the explosive energy of Footloose: Youth Edition! This high-octane stage adaptation of the hit movie musical follows Ren, a city kid who finds himself in a small town where dancing has been outlawed by the local preacher. As Ren challenges the ban and clashes with tradition, he discovers friendship, love, and the power of self-expression. With its chart-topping, Grammy-nominated score—including unforgettable hits and exciting new songs—Footloose: Youth Edition is a heartfelt celebration of youth, community, and the courage to stand up for joy. All students will participate in acting, singing, dancing, and art classes over the course of two weeks, culminating in a final performance for families and friends on the evening of June 12 at Midlothian Middle School. This full-day program is designed for rising 5th–9th grade students.
