Recording Arts Camp gives students ages 10 and up an in-depth look at professional music recording, mixing, and mastering. Campers step behind the scenes to learn the technical and creative aspects of music production in a professional studio environment. Students work with industry-standard recording software like Pro Tools, learning how to set up microphones, record instruments and vocals, edit tracks, mix multiple audio sources, and master final recordings. The camp covers audio engineering fundamentals including signal flow, EQ, compression, reverb, and other effects. Campers work on real recording projects, gaining hands-on experience with professional equipment and techniques. By the end of camp, students understand the complete recording process and have created their own professionally recorded and mixed tracks. This camp is ideal for students interested in audio engineering, music production, or careers in the recording industry.
