Spanish Forest School offers a unique two-week immersion experience where young children explore the Spanish language and culture entirely outdoors. Campers engage in nature-based learning while developing Spanish language skills through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities. Each week features exploration of two different outdoor locations in Marin County, providing diverse natural environments for learning. Children develop language proficiency, cultural awareness, and outdoor skills while building confidence, social-emotional growth, and a deep connection to nature. The program combines the benefits of forest school education with Spanish language immersion.
School bus transportation available from Mill Valley for an additional cost. Shuttle service transports campers from Terra Mandarin Preschool to outdoor locations and back.
Vest rental for shuttle riders is available for $5 per day, depending on availabilityEmail camps@terraschools.org to confirm vest availabilityIf bringing your own car seat, you will install it on the shuttle
