Me, Myself & Art invites children ages 5-8 to explore self-expression through self-portraits and personal art. This multi-week class encourages children to think about their identity, interests, and what makes them unique. Children create self-portraits in various media, design personal symbols and patterns, and make artworks that express their feelings and experiences. Projects are inspired by portrait artworks in the museum's collection from different cultures and time periods. The class develops self-awareness, creative confidence, and understanding that art can express personal identity and experience.
