Emerging Artists is designed for children ages 9-12 who are ready to develop more sophisticated artistic skills and discover their personal creative voice. These 30-45 minute weekly classes focus on advanced techniques, various media exploration, and portfolio development. Students learn about art history, different artistic movements, and professional techniques while working on complex, multi-session projects. The curriculum encourages critical thinking about art, problem-solving, and individual expression. Students build a portfolio that demonstrates their growing technical skills and unique artistic perspective. Projects challenge students to experiment with new materials and push their creative boundaries. Teachers provide individualized feedback and guidance while fostering a supportive peer community. All art supplies are provided, and the class can be added on to a music membership for comprehensive creative development.
